The more leads you have in your job hunting mix, the better the chance of you connecting and snagging that job you really want. It’s not easy, but you have to keep at it. Below are a ten ways you can keep the leads coming.
- Personal Circle: Family members, friends or professionals you know are great source and the number one way to get leads.
- Online: Search the Internet for key stakeholders in company’s you are interested.
- Social Networks. Get on them. They are a powerful source of leads.
- Direct Email. Identify companies and ask about openings or sell yourself to an opening that may not exist but is needed. Do your homework on the company first. find the Recruiter.
- Want Ads. Newspapers and trade journals do have job ads. Check them out.
- Search Firms. Try connecting with search firms.
